Fees for Our Legal Services

Below are our average fee estimates for common types of immigration applications. These fees may vary depending on your individual circumstances, including your current location, previous immigration history, the timeliness of documentation, and the volume of supporting evidence required.

Other factors to take into account include Home Office processing times, the potential need for an interview, and the possibility of your application being deferred for further consideration by a senior caseworker at the Home Office.

The UK immigration rules are complex and subject to frequent change.

Value Added Tax (VAT)

Value Added Tax (VAT), currently set at 20%, applies to most products and services provided by VAT-registered businesses in the UK. The fee estimates listed here are exclusive of VAT, which will be payable in most cases.

What Our Services Include

When you instruct Kulachi Solicitors in relation to any of the visa categories listed below, our services typically include:

  • Discussing your circumstances in detail and advising on the Immigration Rules and your eligibility for the relevant application

  • Considering alternative options available to you

  • Completing the application documentation on your behalf

  • Providing a comprehensive checklist of the supporting documents required

  • Reviewing your documentation and advising on any additional evidence needed

  • Preparing a covering letter with legal submissions in support of your application and submitting it to the Home Office

  • Drafting any further template documents where appropriate

  • Coordinating Home Office application appointments where necessary

  • Liaising with the Home Office in relation to your application, if required

  • Advising you on the outcome of your application and any subsequent steps to be taken

Note: The time required for reviewing documents will depend on several factors, including the number of documents, whether translation is required, whether any documents are missing, and the time needed to obtain replacements.

We also provide advice and assistance in relation to appeals; however, these services are not included in the above fee estimates and will be discussed separately.

All visa applications must be supported by the appropriate documentation in accordance with Home Office requirements. We will provide clear guidance on the type and format of documents required, including whether any need to be attested or translated. Where necessary, we can also assist with obtaining supporting documents such as bank letters or medical records.

Fixed Fee Arrangements

For many of the visa applications listed below, once we have reviewed your circumstances and confirmed your eligibility, we offer a fixed fee. This ensures that there are no additional charges, even if the work on your application takes longer than originally anticipated, unless there is a significant change to your circumstances or instructions.

Our Hourly Rates

Our fees are calculated based on the experience of the lawyer handling your case, with hourly rates as follows:

  • Partner / Director: £350- £450 + VAT @20% (if applicable)
  • Solicitor: £300- £400 + VAT @20% (if applicable)

You will be advised of the fee estimate at the outset of our work with you.
